UN approves cannabis removal from drug list

Today, after 50 years, the UN has removed cannabis from the list of drugs and recognizes its therapeutic use. So hemp is no longer part of the "Table IV" of substances including heroin and cocaine. As pointed out by the World Health Organization, there is now a lot of scientific evidence for the therapeutic use for diseases such as: Parkinson's, sclerosis, epilepsy, chronic pain, but even more, informs dritare.net

All European Union countries voted in favor of removing cannabis from the drug list, with the exception of Hungary. Thus ends the era of restrictions on the production of cannabis for medical and scientific purposes in relation to the single 1961 Convention on Narcotic Substances.

In North America, cannabis is legalized, while in Europe only Luxembourg is overcoming the ban taboo.

While the Prime Minister of our country, Edi Rama a few months ago said that he will legalize the use of cannabis for medical purposes./K.C/dritare.net
