Glauk Konjufca, the new Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo

Today in Kosovo was convened a session to formalize the establishment of institutions after the February 14 parliamentary elections. The plenary session was convened after the announcement of the result by the CEC, which determined how many seats for MPs are assigned to each party. Following the preliminary procedure in the assembly, Glauk Konjufca was elected as the new Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo and the other three Vice-Speakers. The senior official Konjufca of the Vetëvendosje Movement received 69 votes in favor and 33 against in the Kosovo parliament hall. The other 3 vice presidents are Saranda Bogujevci from LVV, Bedri Hamza from PDK, and Kujtim Shala from LDK. The Serbian List has proposed the name of Slavko Simic. The biggest challenge for Kosovo's new parliament will be to complete the presidency and elect and vote for Albin Kurti's new government.
